It is almost always nature that provides the model for my work. Whatever islands we visit I walk the beaches in search of material. In my workshop on board or in the cockpit of our boat, I start with a preselection and make first layouts for a new piece of jewelry. The designs are always based on the type and nature of the objects that I find.
